The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of heroes who will split off from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might appear out of place, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, attacking the character, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, above the urban center, with Cyd close behind.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as important members in the powerful family could help the team reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character pledged a life debt to Wicander for his deliverance and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are sought by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to head to Timmony in quest for the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can look forward to learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on October 24.
